At first it starts with a piece of paper and then it turns into a creation with infinite possibility.

Snowflakes are my bread and butter. I have been making them since elementary school and have always been told they are unique and more beautiful then the traditional one. For the longest time, I have had this skill that I could only share in paper form, which were just as fragile as real snowflakes. In 2023 I took it upon myself to bring my snowflakes to life and with the help of my 3D printer I did just that.

The result is a paper snowflake. As it is paper, it does have some draw backs especially how fragile it is.

As with most things you have to start with a base and the best place to start is with Mother Nature herself. Taking her lead, I took inspiration in the jagged points and the sharp lines of the ice crystal. Then I added my own smooth curving lines, which are not found in crystalline structure.

To fix the down fall of paper snowflakes. I used a resin 3D printer to recreate my snowflake out of a plant based resin.

From the plant based resin I add an extra layer of table top resin to give a glass like feeling. Then it is ready for sale.
